The third edition of Springbreak Luxembourg has proven successful with a record attendance of 35,000 visitors.

For four days, the public crowded Luxexpo The Box for inspiration and entertainment by a rich programme of conferences, concerts and shows. Indeed, thanks to its redesigned architecture, condensed calendar, festive atmosphere and entertainment, as well as a hundred exhibitors presenting their most innovative products and projects, this year's Springbreak attracted a record number of visitors - without counting the large number of people coming only for the Jardirêve and the Vintage shows.

Commenting on this success, Morgan Gromy, Managing Director of Luxexpo The Box, said: "We took the bold gamble of building a mass-market show on topics of sustainability, innovation and positive impact. For that, we had to set an example and we launched a substantive work to propose a concept and eco-responsible events".

Each day had a specific theme, with Thursday highlighting entrepreneurship in all its forms with three guest speakers who shared their inspiring views. After an introduction by Equilibrium Association President Aude Lemogne, Canadian Kyle MacDonald recounted his story of trading a trombone against a house, while the best-selling British author Tom Hodgkinson demonstrated that idleness was the mother of efficiency. His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri, along with Tourism Minister Lex Delles and Finance Minister Pierre Gramegna attended this event.

On Friday, the event was devoted to entertainment with the discovery of Luxembourgish artists, whilst Saturday focused on responsible fashion with a "VinoKilo" runway for second-hand clothes. On this occasion, Norwegian activist and model Aleksandra Ørbeck-Nilssen spoke on ethics in the fashion industry. Finally, on the Sunday, the site attracted record numbers of visitors with its family-friendly programme: from cooking workshops with well-known chefs and a test track for electric mobility to the Sales Lentz stand-alone shuttle circulating in the halls and a secret bar hidden behind a library.

According to Morgan Gromy, the new Springbreak motto "Be ahead of your time" has proven successful: "We have received many messages of encouragement and support. Springbreak Luxembourg has found its place in hearts and agendas!"
