In the lead-up to the Paris Olympic Games, the Belle Etoile shopping centre will hold an exhibition from 17 to 27 April 2024, on the topic “Luxembourg at the Olympic Games”.

Organised in collaboration with the Luxembourg Olympic and Sports Committee (COSL), the exhibition will offer a retrospective journey through history. It aims to celebrate the strong and memorable moments of Luxembourg athletes at the Olympic Games since their first participation in Paris in 1900. It highlights the exploits, emotions and victories of the athletes who carried the country's colours high on the Olympic stage.

A sports day is planned for Saturday 20 April 2024, where various Luxembourg sports federations will be present to offer visitors workshops and varied sports demonstrations, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in the world of Luxembourg sport and discover new disciplines. The event will include fencing, martial arts, archery and tennis federations, among others.

On Saturday 27 June 2024, the exhibition will close with a Breakdance Contest featuring high-level dancers. Two categories will be available: the confirmed 2vs2 break and a children’s category. Hailing from hip-hop culture, "breaking" has become a sporting discipline at the Olympic Games: dancers compete in spectacular battles by chaining together “power moves” such as domes, six-steps or freezes by adapting and improvising to the sound of the DJ.
