Following its announcement in mid-May that it will commence flights from Luxembourg to London Stanstead (1 flight/day) and Porto (5 flights/week) from 1 September 2016, Ryanair has had to put back its scheduled date of launching its new service from the Grand Duchy by two months.

The flights to/from Luxembourg will now not commence until 30 October 2016, with passengers who had purchased tickets on earlier flights to be offered seats on flights at a later date, or a refund.

The delay is due to the second ground handling operator at Luxembourg airport not being ready in time.
