Luxaviation Group is celebrating a milestone in the development of its business in the Americas, having operated its 500th flight of 2016 in the North American market.
The international business aviation group is seeing sharply growing demand for its aircraft charter and flight operations services within the United States and between the USA and destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, Canada, Central and South America and Asia.
Luxaviation Group stepped up its presence in the region earlier in 2016, acquiring its first fixed-based operation (FBO) in the Caribbean and opening its first FBO in Mexico. These new facilities provide additional access to the mainland United States as well as the Caribbean and Central America.
Patrick Hansen, CEO of Luxaviation Group said “The very encouraging growth we have seen this year proves there is a significant opportunity for Luxaviation Group in the North American market. This gives further endorsement for our strategy of building a global business aviation group able to meet the needs of our discerning clientele wherever they need to travel, underpinned by the highest standards of safety and service.”
Luxembourg-based Luxaviation Group is pursuing an ambitious plan to become the leading global business aviation company covering Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Australasia and the Americas.
The Luxaviation Group is the second largest operator of corporate aircraft in the world. It manages 250 aircraft under the most stringent safety standards and currently employs over 1,600 employees worldwide. The company’s commercial fleet is operated under the regulatory umbrella of 14 air operating certificates (AOCs). ExecuJet manages the Group’s 24 world-class FBO facilities and 14 maintenance centres worldwide, certified to work on most business jets. The internationally established and widely recognised ExecuJet name remains as a separate brand within the Luxaviation Group.
