Luxaviation has announced the opening of an additional AOC in San Marino after officially inaugurating the office yesterday.

The new AOC gives business jet and helicopter owners a further solution for aircraft registration, asset management and commercial operation. Building on Luxaviation’s extensive global presence, the conclusion of the San Marino certification means customers now have 15 AOCs available to accommodate their specific needs.

The San Marino AOC has been operational since 2 January 2018, and will operate under San Marino Civil Aviation Rules and the Luxaviation Group’s safety regulations. These include full Wyvern approvals, recognising San Marino’s exemplary commitment to aviation safety.

Captain Robert Fisch, Chief Aviation Officer of the Luxaviation Group and previously managing director of Luxaviation Luxembourg, has been appointed managing director of the San Marino AOC. Fisch said “The San Marino AOC has proven instantly popular with our customers, with three aircraft from Europe, South Africa and the Middle East already receiving their ‘T7’ San Marino tail numbers. We expect to see many new customers joining the AOC, particularly those with specific needs for large cabin certification. Our customers depend on us for high-quality service, and we will continue to bolster that reputation by ensuring all operations meet Luxaviation’s industry-leading standards across the board.

David Colindres, President of the San Marino Aircraft Registry, added “In San Marino, we have structured our registration service to maximise benefits for aircraft owners – benefits which we can now offer to Luxaviation’s customers.”

Marco Conti, Director General of Civil Aviation, San Marino, continued “The Republic of San Marino is a rapidly expanding centre for business in Europe, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and our partnership with Luxaviation is the ideal coupling of two ambitious, service-oriented organisations. We look forward to this relationship continuing to grow during 2018.”

Patrick Hansen, CEO, Luxaviation Group, said “The Luxaviation Group is renowned for supplying the full life-cycle of services, from registration to operation, maintenance and more. We have worked hard to gain experience and a commendable reputation across the globe, which we maintain by ensuring customers always feel their experience is individual and local. Our San Marino AOC is yet another way we can extend this 360˚ offering to our customers.”
