René Steinhaus, Lux-Airport;
Following the news earlier in the week that the current CEO of Lux-Airport, Johan Vanneste, will leave his position shortly to take up a similar role at the airport of Bonn-Cologne, the board of Lux-Airport has appointed René Steinhaus as CEO ad interim at a meeting today in order to ensure a continuation of service.
René Steinhaus has contributed significantly to the development of Lux-Airport since the end of 2012, initially as a consultant and then, from December 2016, as Commercial Director of Lux-Airport.
René Steinhaus studied aeronautics and aerospace at the Technical University of Berlin and worked initially for Frankfurt Airport where he held various posts, including Senior Executive Manager. In 2008 he started work for A. T. Kearney consultants in the transport and tourism sectors; during his time there he worked on projects for Lux-Airport.
