Luxaviation has announced the opening of its first Crew Resort, a boutique hotel offering contemporary, upscale accommodation for crew members and clients in transit.
Located at Luxembourg airport, the Luxaviation Crew Resort is the first to open and provides a full-service array of amenities to cover the crew’s needs to prepare the next take-off.

Based in Luxembourg and within walking distance from Luxembourg airport, the Luxaviation Crew Resort’s location allows guests easy access to both the airport and Luxembourg’s financial, shopping and diplomatic district. With four fully equipped guest rooms and one superior suite, Luxaviation Crew Resort was designed in a fresh, spacious and trendy industrial style, in the respect of the historical tradition.

The Crew Resort concept has been developed in order to optimise the crews’ conditions to deliver excellent client services and a maximum convenience for the crews by delivering full service support and personalized and local travel experiences.

Patrick Hansen, CEO, Luxaviation Group, said “The Luxaviation Crew Resort is the first of a series of resorts we plan to open globally. Luxaviation staff need to find the best conditions to rest and to prepare their next mission. We are continuously working on client service excellence. The Crew Resorts are another step to deliver our promise to the customer.”

Luxaviation Crew Resort in Luxembourg includes “Airfield”, a gastronomic restaurant in an authentic setting which first opened in 1948. Selim Schiltz, Airfield owner and Managing Director of the Château de Bourglinster, said “We are pleased to enter this partnership with Luxaviation. Airfield has been fully renovated to restore to its former glory what was the Grünewald’s former hunting lodge of the grand-ducal family. We are itching to share the stunning results of our restoration refurbishment with our guests.”

Services which are at the disposal of the crews include an app which allows the staff to organise their arrival in advance and book client and personal services in a time efficient way such as wellness, laundry, transportation or room booking.

The crew resort is part of a client experience strategy which Luxaviation will further develop over the next months.
