Cargolux, together with Geodis UK, have successfully transported 29 cars between Bologna in Italy and Osaka in Japan in support of the famous Gumball 3000 race.

The Gumball 3000 is an annual British 3,000-mile (4,800 km) international motor rally which takes place on public roads. It is commonly referred to as an international celebrity motor rally although most of the participants are not celebrities, but rather wealthy car enthusiasts.

The 2018 rally departed from London on 5 August 2018 and passed through Domaine De Chantilly in France and Sforza Castle in Milan in Italy before heading to Bologna to fly on a Cargolux flight to Osaka, Japan.

The rally will eventually reach Tokyo tomorrow, on 11 August, where the final Gumball party will take place this Sunday 12 August.
