Luxaviation Group, one of the largest private aircraft operators worldwide and based in Luxembourg, has announced the introduction of two new aircraft to its fleet.

The large cabin Challenger 350 aircraft, which joins the Luxaviation fleet in Brussels, is a first for the Benelux market. Meeting the high-standards of its kind, the Challenger 350 provides a state-of-the art cabin for up to 9 passengers and has a range of close to 6,000 km, allowing passengers to go non-stop from Brussels to Dubai, for example.
The Cessna Citation CJ4, which integrated the Luxaviation Belgium fleet at the Kortrijk-Wevelgem facility, joined an identical Cessna type, managed by Luxaviation since 2016. The aircraft which welcomes up to 8 passengers, will be operated out of Brussels-Zaventem and Kortrijk airports. Luxaviation Belgium is the sole operator of the Citation CJ4 in Belgium.

Luxaviation Belgium continues to grow its aircraft fleet and will integrate an additional Cessna Citation XLS+ vehicle to its existing fleet at the Kortrijk-Wevelgem facility in the first quarter of 2019.

Successful year for Brussels FBO

Luxaviation Belgium Brussels FBO, operated by ExecuJet looks back at a very successful business year with close to 7.000 aircraft movements, with a significant number of wide body aircraft. The increase in traffic was mainly driven by loyal existing customers but also a result of a number of noteworthy summit events taking place in Brussels and gathering high-level stakeholders from EU, NATO and ASEM. The FBO is thriving to proceed to IS-BAH1 Stage II accreditation in January 2019 after having received its Stage I accreditation in 2017.

An-Céline Claes, Handling & Protocol Manager of the ExecuJet Brussels FBO explained “We are delighted to have delivered an impressive year at our FBO. It is testament to our stable, professional and dedicated team here in Brussels that we see a significant amount of returning customers whom have become accustomed to the level of service we provide time and again. Ministerial and Heads of State flights require an increased amount of procedures and protocols which the Brussels FBO team are highly experienced in delivering, and summit events taking place around the city result in handling requirements for airliners up to Boeing 747-800, which we are fully equipped to service. I believe we uphold the core values our customers’ desire; Trust, Reliability and Safety, and we look forward to continuing our success into the New Year."
