Carsharing Luxembourg has unveiled its new car-sharing station at the heart of the Kirchberg plateau.

A little less than two years after its launch, Carsharing Luxembourg has decided to extend its presence with the setting up of a new car-sharing station in Kirchberg.

In almost two years of activity in Luxembourg-ville, Carsharing has more than 450 customers to its credit, 7,700 completed journeys and 330,000km travelled in 39,000 hours of booking.

With a view to optimising its territorial coverage on the capital and in order to better serve its current and future customers, CARLOH is opening an additional station at the Kirchberg plateau.

This new station is located in the carpark of the University of Luxembourg on the Kirchberg campus, at the corner of Boulevard John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Rue Coudenhove-Kalergi.

Moreover, this station, thanks to a double charging station, will benefit from electric vehicles as part of the development of an increasingly environmentally friendly alternative mobility.

CARLOH now has a total of 9 stations and 15 vehicles in the territory of Luxembourg-ville: Astrid station (Rue Astrid, Belair), Gangler station (Rue Jean-François Gangler), Rocade station (Rocade car park), Bender station (Rue Bender), Bei der Auer station (Rue de Gasperich), Hugo station (Avenue Victor Hugo, Limpertsberg), Schuman station (Schuman car park), Klenge Knuedler station (Rue Notre Dame), Uni station (Rue Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, Kirchberg campus, University of Luxembourg).

As a reminder, the CARLOH service is accessible to anyone aged 18 or older in possession of a valid driver's license.

Registration is available at CARLOH at Charly's Gare (16A avenue Emile Reuter L-2420 Luxembourg) or online at www.carloh.lu.
