Road Works Taking Place on A13 and A4 Motorways

Road works are planned to take place on the A4 and A13 motorways at the Esch junction this evening from 21:00-23:00, and on the A13 between the Ehlerange and Differdange interchanges from 25-28 August 2017.

The Highway Administration will work with CREOS on a site related to the dismantling of high voltage cables on the A4 and A13 motorways during the night of Wednesday 23 August 2017 from 21:00-23:00 at the Esch junction.

In terms of traffic disruption during this time, the following roads will be closed: the A4 motorway between the Foetz interchange and the Esch junction in both directions; the A13 motorway between the Schifflange interchange and the Esch junction from the A13 and towards the A4; the access ramp of the Schifflange interchange from the CR169 and in the direction of the Esch junction of the A13 motorway; the access ramps of the Foetz interchange and the Esch junction from the CR164 and towards the Raemerich roundabout on the A13 motorway.

Traffic on the A13 and A4 motorways is diverted between the Lallange, Schifflange and Foetz interchanges via the CR164, CR169, CR168, CR170 and CR170A.

Further road works are scheduled from 25-28 August 2017 with the construction of a partition wall in the Ehlerange tunnel, in connection with the tunnel’s redesign.

This third phase of the work will start on Friday 25 August at 20:00 and will last until Monday 28 August at 6:00. The works require a closure on the A13 motorway between the Ehlerange and Differdange interchanges in both directions.

Other disruptions include those to the following access routes to Gasperich: the access ramp of the Ehlerange interchange coming from the N37 and towards Petange via the A13; the Differdange interchange ramp coming from the N32 and towards the junction of Lankelz via the A13.

The following deviations are also implemented: traffic from the A4 motorway and towards Petange from the A13 motorway is diverted from the Ehlerange interchange via N37, CR110 and N32 to the Differdange interchange; traffic from the A3 motorway and towards the Lankelz junction is diverted from the Differdange interchange via the N32, CR110 and N37 to the Ehlerange interchange.
