Operational since the beginning of September, the Sales-Lentz Group officially inaugurated its 10th depot today, Wednesday 20 September 2017, in Esch-Belval.

In order to avoid unnecessary delays and unnecessary kilometers, it is important for a public transport company to get as close as possible to the lines it serves. For example, the Esch-Belval depot will be the starting point for RGTR 314 and 205, as well as the Flexibus services for the cities of Rumelange and Esch-sur-Alzette and some of the CAPABS tours.

As a result, the depot will house 13 bus lines, including 6 articulated hybrid buses, and 4 Mercedes Sprinter shuttles, which will be operated by 29 drivers.

The new depot, which has a total parking area of 2,900 m2, of which 500 m2 are covered, is equipped with electrical outlets to connect the hybrid buses overnight and pre-equipped for bus charging or 100% electric shuttles if needed.

Hugo Sampaio, aged 31, was appointed as head of the new depot.
