Luxair has announced that London City Airport will be closed all day today, Monday 12 February 2018, due to a WWII bomb being found next to the airport in the River Thames.
This morning’s Luxair Luxembourg Airlines flights to and from London City had to be cancelled.
As for the flights scheduled for this afternoon, Luxair Luxembourg Airlines will operate flights LG4595/96; LG4601/4602 and LG4597/98 to and from London Southend airport.
Passengers booked from London to Luxembourg should proceed to London Southend airport where a Luxair desk has been arranged.
More than 600 Luxair Luxembourg Airlines passengers are affected by today’s London City airport closure.
