University of Sheffield, Luxembourg Studies;
On Wednesday 25 July 2018, the cabinet of the Luxembourg Government approved the draft convention 2018-2019 between the Luxembourg State and the University of Sheffield (UK).
The University of Sheffield is the only university abroad offering undergraduate degree programmes in Luxembourg studies. As the only such foreign university, it offers the possibility of learning the Luxembourgish language.
In addition, the "Centre for Luxembourg Studies" welcomes each year a visiting author from Luxembourg. In keeping with the spirit of performance contracts, the University of Sheffield is committed to achieving a number of goals in return for the state's endowment.
The 2018-2019 agreement is a prolongation of previous agreements.
