On Thursday 26 October and Friday 27 October 2023, the 37th edition of the traditional Student Fair (Studentefoire) organised by Luxembourg‘s Ministry of Higher Education and Research in close collaboration with the Association des Cercles d'Étudiants Luxembourgeois (ACEL) will take place at the Esch-Belval university campus.

After last year’s success, the traditional Student Fair will again be held for two days on the Belval university campus. With an even larger and more varied number of exhibitors than last year, the 2023 Student Fair will allow visitors to find out about studies, student life and professional opportunities.

During the two days of the fair, students in the final years of secondary education will have the opportunity to obtain information directly from the exhibitors present on site. 120 stands will be spread across four buildings: Maison du Savoir (ground floor and floors -1 and +1), Maison des Arts et des Etudiants, Halle des Poches à Fonte and Skip. Students will be able to discuss with the universities’ representatives and higher education establishments, as well as with student associations and circles.

Students will also have the opportunity to contact representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (Higher Studies Information Service and Financial Aid Service) who will guide them in their procedures and provide them with information, both on the same studies as on state financial aid for higher education.

At the same time, students will be able to follow a series of conferences relating to different professional fields, namely health professions, teaching as well as civil service careers in Esch-Belval at the Luxembourg Learning Centre in the Ellipse room.

On Thursday 26 October, the event will take place from 09:00 to 19:00; the 15:30 to 19:00 slot will be reserved for the general public. On Friday 27 October, the event is set from 09:00 to 17:00 (open to the general public from 15:30 to 17:00).

The face-to-face fair is supplemented by a digital platform bringing together not only the exhibitors physically present in Belval, but also some 90 additional “virtual” exhibitors. On this platform, exhibitors will present their institutions or associations, notably via pre-recorded videos, and make their downloadable documentation available to visitors.

During the two days of the face-to-face fair, various webinars from foreign higher education establishments (not present in Belval) can also be followed on the platform live and interactively.

The digital platform www.studentefoire.lu will be accessible 24/7 from Wednesday 18 October 2023, more than a week before the in-person fair, to allow secondary school students to obtain information virtually in order to best prepare their visit to Belval. The platform will remain fully accessible (with documentation, video library, conferences and webinar replays, contacts, etc.) until 5 January 2024 (18:00).

Registration is not required for the platform.
