The 4th edition of Unicareers.lu, the job fair organised by Moovijob and the University of Luxembourg, will take place on Friday 29 September 2017 at Luxembourg Congrès (European Convention Center), from 10:00 to 17:00.
The event will host circa 130 exhibitors offering more than 2,500 vacancies (internships, fixed-term contracts and permanent contracts).
The growing interest for this fair goes widely beyond Luxembourgish borders with 350 high schools and European partner universities with the sole objective to meet companies’ recruitment needs. Free coach buses from Paris, Lyon, Lille, Strasbourg, Brussels/Louvain, Liège, Saarbrücken, and Trier will be provided.
This one-day event is dedicated to all students looking for an internship or a first position, and also to young professionals with up to 5 years of experience.
The fair will be organised in 9 distinct themed areas enabling visitors to locate easily: Audit-Accounting, Banking-Finance-Insurance, Business-Corporate Services, Law-Legal, Training, Research & Development, Industry-Transportation, IT & Partners-Consulting-Services.
In addition to meeting with exhibitors, visitors will have the opportunity to attend to several conferences held by Luxembourgish market experts:
• A round-table on “Youth Employment in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg” will be held at 11:00 with the exceptional presence of Nicolas Schmit, Luxembourg’s Minister of Labour.
• PwC, ING, ESA (European Space Agency) and the University of Luxembourg will hold conferences on various topics.
The 2016 edition enabled 700 visitors to find a job; the organisers from the University of Luxembourg and Moovijob aim to reach the thousand contracts symbolic milestone for this edition.
