The 9th annual Best Workplaces conference will be taking place on 21 March 2019 at Etablissement Namur (Luxembourg-Hamm) from 15:30.

The ceremony will centre around the theme of "Rethinking Commitment to Work". Several studies have been conducted worldwide on the issue of work commitment and its impact on the productivity of a company.

Indeed, Gallup regularly conducts a meta-analysis on the subject; the latest publication in 2016 combined 339 studies from 230 organisations in 73 countries. The top 25 of these companies, for whom commitment to work is at their heart, achieved an increase of approximately 10% on customer satisfaction, 21% on profits and 24% on turnover for large companies and more than 59% for small businesses. The results were not limited to financial performance but also to the customer aspect. The study also showed that work accidents, absenteeism and quality defects were lower in such companies. Another joint study between Great Place to Work® and FORTUNE showed a stock market performance that was twice as high for Best Workplaces® companies than for others. In this regard, Best Workplaces Luxembourg aims to create a Great Place to Work® for all.

Those wishing to develop their knowledge of creating an innovative and trust-based corporate culture (that improves financial results) are invited to attend this upcoming event. Speaking on this occasion will be Arthur Meulman, General Manager at jobs.lu, who will present the results of the survey conducted in collaboration with Great Place to Work on the expectations of candidates vis-à-vis their future employers, and Christophe Lambot from the ELA Association, who will present the operation "Put your sneakers in the company".

The winners of this years Best Workplaces® Luxembourg will be announced at 19:00, followed by a networking walking dinner.

Admission is free for top-management and HR professionals. HR service providers and consultants will have to pay an entrance fee of €175. Registration is subject to a no show policy.
