Luxembourg trade union, the LCGB, has signed a new collective agreement for APERAM employees for a two-year period.

The agreement, signed on 15 February 2019, encompasses various improvements in working conditions for the 52 employees of the Rodange site of APERAM, a global player in the stainless steel sector. These include a linear increase of 0.85% for 2018 and 0.85% for 2019, an increase in the number of meal vouchers, the introduction of a progressive early retirement scheme, setting up a working group on a working time organisation plan and the revaluation of the seniority bonus.
