1. Business

The international business community is marked by many Chambers of Commerce, some of which started off as business clubs. Some are more active than others, with activities ranging from business luncheons to evening presentations / panel discussions, often with cultural components. While some conduct their affairs in their national language, English is used frequently. Besides the international chambers, we have also included a sub-category here of Co-working Spaces (which includes serviced offices) as the innovation and entrepreneurial sector has grown considerably over the past few years, and these are places where individuals and small companies can go to work alone, collaborate and schedule meetings.
