With English becoming globally important as the language of communication and business, the need for children to use the language confidently has become essential. Several schools in Luxembourg have added English theatre options or extra-curricular activities to help pupils improve their active language abilities by using them on the stage. Every two years, the FESTIVAL OF ENGLISH-LANGUAGE SCHOOL THEATRE (FEST) organises a weekend of plays at which these schools can display their excellent language and acting skills to a wider public. FEST 24 is at the “Rotondes” in February 2024.
