Shorttrack speed skating is a fascinating fast sport, which on one side is focused on high speed, but even more exciting and attractive is that the competitions involve several athletes competing against each other in eliminating races. Even in the youth classes, these races include breathtaking manoeuvres to gain a better position, so that the sport is often called “Nascar on Ice”. This sport has been Olympic since 1992. Everybody is welcome to join the club at the ice rink in Kockelscheuer.
