International superstar Nana Mouskouri will come to the Luxembourg Philharmonie to perform her “Forever Young Tour” on Sunday 8 February 2018.

Internationally renowned Greek singer Nana Mouskouri will perform in the Grand Duchy as part of her newest tour which celebrates her successful career spanning five decades.

At the age of 15, Nana Mouskouri began her studies at the Hellenic Conservatory in Athens. For eight years, classical singing and piano were among their main subjects. However, the young singer’s passion for jazz left her dismissed without a degree. Mouskouri, however, did not give up, instead forming a small jazz band in Athens before making her breakthrough with the help of composer Manos Hadjidakis.

Since 1959, world tours have followed world tours and albums have followed albums for Nana Mouskouri, who has recorded 133 albums, including 42 in French, 33 in English, 26 in German, 21 in Greek, 6 in Spanish, 2 in Italian and 1 in Portuguese.

With 1500 titles in 15 languages, Nana Mouskouri has sold 350 million records, and is succeeded only by Madonna in terms of the number of CDs sold worldwide.

As part of her "Nana Mouskouri Forever Young Tour", the Greek singer will present her greatest classics, which include “White roses from Athens” and “Good morning sunshine”.
