The 2017 winners of the Fondation Michelle will be putting on a gala concert on Thursday 31 May 2018 at the auditorium of LALUX Assurances (Leudelange) from 19:00.
Since 2014, the Fonds culturel national (Focuna) has been managing the allocation of the Fondation Michelle, a foundation under the auspices of the Fondation de Luxembourg, by offering a series of scholarships for young, talented classical musicians.
The Fondation Michelle has so far helped 115 young musicians, 4 musicologists and 3 composers to perfect their skills or develop their career.
In order to give these laureates more visibility, Focuna, in collaboration with the Fondation de Luxembourg, has organised a gala concert scheduled for the end of next month. Performing will be Rodolphe Alma (composer), Núria Bonet (musicologist), Hy-Kang Dang (saxophonist), Miguel de Figueredo Gomes (violinist), Benjamin Kruithof (celloist), Isabelle Kruithof (violinist), Máté Sütő (pianist), Francesco Tristano (pianist) and Ensemble United Instruments of Lucilin.
