The Rock de Schleek festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary next month on 17 August 2018 in Machtum, Wormeldange, from 17:00.
The festival, organised by the "Machtum Youth Union", will take place at Schliikeplatz in the centre of Machtum, located on the Moselle between Wormeldange and Grevenmacher. As in previous editions, all the bands present on stage come from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg or the Greater Region.
Although the committee remains true to itself and their idea of a rock festival, they insisted on introducing for the first time a "Happy Hour" from 17:00-18:00 and a shuttle that goes through Grevenmacher and Remich til 01:00 and 03:00. This year, the Rock of Schleek will host for the third time the fashion label "NEE so daat NET" with a stand.
The festival will feature performances by: Legacy of Atlas (LU), Deppegéisser (LU), De Pascal vu Wooltz (LU), The Velvet (LU), Edel Weis (LU), Tubadiesel (DE), Dead Sinners (LU), Encypher (DE) ), Scarlet Anger (LU) and Calypso's Call (LU).
An entrance ticket costs €5 in advance, €8 on the evening (with a Green Code card or Axxess €5).
Beer, crémant, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be available, as well as barbecue food and pasta with homemade sauce (Bolognese and vegetarian).
