Details:

On Friday 10 August 2018 starting at 20:00, the inter-regional trending rock/pop artist Romy Conzen, from the Belgian Eiffel region will be back on stage in Luxembourg with another musical chill-out session, this time at an open-air event taking place right in front of the Black Stuff Irish pub in Val de Hamm, Luxembourg-Pulvermühl, which is renowned for its occasional live music events.

Her musical adventure continues, as Romy has been crowned as an independent rock artist with three nominations in Nashville, Tennessee during the month of May, after her latest album ‘V for Victory’ was released in the US. Just a few weeks later, it was published in Germany. This album comprised her own creations ‘V for Victory’ and ‘Going Down’, two hits that attained 1st and 3rd respectively in Belgium’s TOP30 hit list, in autumn 2017.

Earlier this year, in April, she had appeared in a solo acoustic event at the ‘Rockbox’ in Rives de Clausen and, in May, with her fully-fledged rock band at the ‘Music for Smiles 2018’ music festival in Mondorf-les-Bains.

With a proven track record, Romy is described as a sultry rock chanteuse who has attracted radio play throughout the Benelux, Germany, the UK and the US since her first album ‘Black as Night’ was released in 2012.

Romy is a talented songwriter, composer and singer who fluently speaks four languages and mostly sings in English (80% of her songs) and occasionally also in French. Besides her own creations, Romy also covers well-known songs that have been carefully selected from various popular bands and artists, such as the Rolling Stones, R.E.M., the 4 Non Blondes, KT Tunstall, Melissa Etheridge, to name just a few.

Her own versatile guitar-playing styles often amaze her audience, wonderfully matching her warm and husky voice. In her own songs Romy takes listeners on a colourful and emotional journey through various musical influences, ranging mainly from pop and rock to funk. Close and personal with just a guitar and microphone, Romy breathes new life into the live music experience of Luxembourg.
