Details:

The 2018 Kick Cancer into Touch (KCIT) tournament is being held on Saturday 25 August at the Stade Boy Konen (279 Rue des Sports, L-1321 Luxembourg-Cessange) from 10:00 with the first tap-off on the Astro Football pitch at 11:00.

10:00 registration of teams
10:30 captains' briefing
11:00 Tap off of the first matches

This annual charity event involves teams of 10 players for a day of touch rugby, with players contributing €10 each.

The format will be finalised on the day depending on the number of teams (the organisers are expecting 8-12); it will probably consist of two or three leagues, which will be used to sort the teams so that in the afternoon everyone can play against other teams of the same standard.

Each team should have a squad maximum 10 players. At any one time a maximum of 4 men should be on the pitch. If you do not have enough ladies then you will have to play with a player short. A junior player does not count as a lady.

The lower age limit to play is 12, which is purely to prevent an accidental injury. If a player is younger than 12 then it is very much at the parents' discretion, but probably not a good idea.

No player can play for more than one team

Facilities

There will be changing facilities, as well as food and drink will be available on site. All proceeds will go to KCIT. There will other entertainment for all the family on site as part of the Aztec Heart of Europe Rugby Festival.
