On Thursday 25 October 2018, the Nordic Investment Managers Forum will take place in Luxembourg City for the fifth time, from 08:30 at the Cercle Cité on Place d'Armes in Luxembourg city centre.

Five portfolio managers of the asset managers that are organising the event will hold presentations about different investment topics, with Meik Wiking, CEO of the Happiness Research Institute, delivering the keynote speech.

The presentations will comprise the followings topics:
 
• Allan Willy Larsen, Senior Vice President, Head of FX and Mortgage Bonds, Jyske Bank: Danish Mortgage Bonds – Still Attractive?
• David Bakkegard Karsbøl, Chief Strategist, Head of Strategic Asset Allocation, Sparinvest S.A.: Allocation Funds – more than a Decade of not Timing the Market.
• Tomas Johansson, Portfolio Manager, Skagen: „Shadow Activism“ – Capturing Activist Alpha without the Downsides.
• Kjell Morten Hjørnevik, Portfolio Manager, DNB Asset Management AS: The Nordic Region – Attractive Returns in a Sound Economic Environment.
• Thomas Haugaard, Senior Economist, Danskebank: All that Glitters is not Gold – Uncovering Alpha in EMD HC.

The Nordic Investment Managers Forum is organised by DNB, Danske, Skagen, Jyske and Sparinvest. The annual event has established itself as a key date for professional investors interested in Nordic investments, Scandinavian investment tips and networking. This year, it will take place in Zurich and Munich for the first time in addition to Luxembourg.
