This Thursday 14 February 2019, Steve Bates and United Instruments of Lucilin will perform "Before, After, During" as part of the exhibition "Drinkers of quintessences" at Casino Luxembourg - Forum of Contemporary Art, from 19:00.
On this occasion, the artist Steve Bates will offer a performance of "Before, After, During", in reference to his work exhibited as part of the "Drinkers of quintessences" exhibition. This performance, consisting of two live sessions lasting 25 minutes each, is performed in collaboration with the Luxembourg ensemble United Instruments of Lucilin.
The first performance, performed by Steve Bates, is based on the audible surface noises before and after the music on a vinyl record. The second is an interpretation of the music of this same record by United Instruments of Lucilin.
