Organ Festival to Celbrate Restoration of Grund Church Organ

The Saint-Jean Church in Luxembourg-Grund at the Abbaye de Neumunster is holding an organ festival dedicated to the "king of instruments" from Friday 2 to Sunday 4 February 2018, to celebrate the recent restoration of the organ.

Programme:

- Friday 2 February: Olivier Latry, organist at Notre Dame de Paris, will give a masterclass (09:30 - 12:30 & 14:00 - 16:00; registrations to email: contact@neimenster.lu) and a concert (20:00) around the repertoire of the French classical organ

- Saturday 3 February @ 20:00: Paul Breish, organist of the Luxembourg Cathedral and a former student of Olivier Latry, will explore with Baroque soprano Marie-Reine Nimax-Weirich and the Gregorian schola Ad cor altum Baroque works for vocals and organ

- Sunday 4 February @ 16:00: choral concert, Pueri Cantores
