The Luxembourg Moselle is less than 20 km from the Luxembourg capital; a jewel of viticulture, the region grows around its French and German neighbours, maintaining a unique style and character.

The wines of the Luxembourg Moselle are a delight for all wine lovers: sparkling Crémants, elegant Rieslings, white and red wines from the Pinot family, exotic Gewürztraminer, Rivaner and ethereal Auxerrois, late harvests, ice and straw wines - a taste discovery without limits across the region and its terroir.

Owners of vineyards, cellars and wine bars located along the Luxembourg Moselle are organising a Open Cellars week-end from 20 to 21 May. A total of 28 wine growers and 2 distilleries will participate in this wine tourism event.

Numerous activities such as tasting wines and liqueurs and guided hikes through the vineyards, as well as carriage rides will attract young and old alike. These activities take place in a friendly atmosphere, facilitating exchanges with winegrowers. High-level cultural events such as art and photography exhibitions and music concerts will complete the programme.

The cellars are open from 11:00 to 20:00 during the two days and also offer culinary specialties outside normal consumption times.

Two museums, namely the museum "A Possen" in Bech-Kleinmacher and the Wine Museum in Ehnen are also among the participants of the largest wine event in the region. Guided tours of a 19th century winegrower's house and a collection of yesteryear's toys, to oenological discoveries at the Wine Museum - there is something for everyone.
