On Friday 11 December, East-West United Bank arranged a special Saint Nicolas Day celebration for the children of employees and their families.
Little artists from the Russian school Kalinka, sponsored since its foundation by EWUB, performed energetic Russian dances and songs in front of the guests in the historic salons of Villa Foch, the headquarters of the Russian bank in Luxembourg. After that children were occupied with Christmas crafts, while their parents were enjoying refreshments and snacks.
As by wonderful Russian tradition, Snow-maiden (granddaughter of Santa Claus) was helping children to participate in competitions and led "roundelays" with them. And, of course, everyone was waiting for the appearance of Santa Claus; the children together with the Snow-maiden called for him with loud voices full of joy. As one could expect, gifts arrived together with Santa Claus!
