The Luxembourg Army Band is set to celebrate its 175th anniversary, along with the 50th anniversary of army volunteers, with a charity concert at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg, on Wednesday 25 January 2017.

As part of the celebrations of 50 years of army volunteers and 175 years of the Luxembourg Army Band, the army, Luxembourg City Tourist Office and not-for-profit association D’Frënn vun der Militärmusek are organising a charity concert. The concert has been organized in collaboration with the Ville de Luxembourg and proceeds will go towards the Luxembourg Air Rescue Foundation.

On this occasion, the army band’s harmony orchestra will perform with young musicians from the Luxembourg music academies and the rock group Murphy’s Law. The army band’s conductor, Major Jean-Claude Braun, will be accompanied by former conductors of the band.
