Family-owned logistics company Dachser, based in Grevenmacher, has been recognised for its achievements with Lufthansa Cargo's "Planet Award of Excellence".

The award followed Dachser flying its largest market share with Lufthansa Cargo last year, out of all its global partners. The freight airline presented its "Planet Award of Excellence" as part of its Global Partner Council in Hamburg.

"We are so proud that the outstanding cooperation with Lufthansa Cargo has resulted in this award," stated Thomas Reuter, Chief Operating Officer of air & Sea Logistics, who accepted the award on Dacher's behalf alongside Head of Global Air Freight, Timo Stroh. "Our customers benefit every day from the extraordinarily high quality of the global supply chains that we create together. We will continue to perfect our successful cooperation."

Dachser's innovative capacity was particularly highlighted, with Dr. Alexia von Hoensbroech, Board Member Products & Sales at Lufthansa Cargo commenting: "Together we have optimised our interfaces and processes, and are pleased that Dachser ranks among the most active eChannel users. As one of the first global partners of the Frankfurt air cargo community, Dachser has strengthened Frankfurt as an air freight location. All of this results in the highest quality for our shared customers, thus earning the Planet Award of Excellence."

Twleve global partners, of which Dachser is one, form part of the Lufthansa Cargo Global Partnership Programme, representing about half the revenue of Lufthansa Cargo.
