On 21 October 2016 the Minister for Equal Opportunities, Lydia Mutsch, attended in the presence of S.A.R. Grand Duchess, the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Catholic Action of Women of Luxembourg (CFLA).
In the speech, the Minister thanked the leaders and many members who take daily, as part of volunteering in the service of society.
"I can only encourage you to keep your momentum: we need women who dare to come forward and take responsibility. We count on your help to increase the number of women willing to engage in local politics in view of the 2017 elections "
Lydia Mutsch welcomed the good collaboration with the association for promoting women's rights and equality between men and women and assured him his future support.
