On 9 June 2016, jointly with lux future lab, the E-Xcelerator will organise a high level pitching event for FinTechs in Luxembourg.
The European Business Angels Network, which has also an organisation in Luxembourg known as Luxembourg Business Angels Network (LBAN), has recently launched a new programme, the E-Xcelerator, dedicated to developing a working alliance between Accelerators and Business Angel Networks across Europe.
After a rigorous selection process, up to 12 highly innovative FinTechs from Luxembourg and Europe will pitch in front of business angels, VCs and investors coming from the EBAN network, as well as from the Luxembourg and Greater Region ecosystems. The invited start-ups are later stage and will be looking for investments beyond €500,000.
Also welcome will be those High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) and corporate representatives, both as potential investors.
The pitching will be structured around main FinTech themes. A panel of experts from regulatory and FinTech specialists, etc., will introduce those main themes followed by the pitching of the start-ups (including each time 3-4 start-ups) thus providing VCs, angels and industry leaders with insight and exposure to the most interesting latest developments of that specific sector.
The event will focus on major sub-sectors of the FinTech industry among which: Payment systems, Regulatory, Compliance & security, Fund management and administration, Asset management, Social finance & impact investment, P2P lending, …
