On Wednesday 28 February 2024, Stand Speak Rise Up! and GRACE will put on a screening of the film The Wound is Where the Light Enters, for the benefit of children born from rape in Uganda.

The screening, set to take place at Ciné Utopia in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg from 18:30, will be followed by a time for discussion.

Stand Speak Rise Up! supports survivors of sexual violence and children born from rape through advocacy actions carried out by the board of directors and in the field. The organisation funds holistic projects around the world aimed at the reconstruction and socio-economic integration of survivors of sexual violence and children born from rape.

GRACE, whose founding members were present at the Stand Speak Rise Up! of 2019 in Luxembourg, is an international charity based in the United Kingdom. It promotes long-term, sustainable reconciliation and advocacy for children born of war, their families and war-affected communities.

Stand Speak Rise Up! and GRACE are also joining forces to support a psychological support project for children born from war rape in Uganda.

Throughout the evening, a QR code will be shared with guests so that they can support this project.
