The Irish Club of Luxembourg (ICL) has announced it is organising its St Patrick's Dinner on Thursday 14 March 2024 at 19:00 at the Meila Hotel, in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.

The St Patrick's Celebration will include Irish dancing and live music from the band Alizeti. Helen Clarke and her musicians, who play for the charity "Ilula Orphan Program (IOP)," will be present, striving to bring hope, compassion and empowerment for the most vulnerable. Registered in 1998 in Tanzania, the organisation is committed to creating a brighter future for the people of Ilula and its neighbouring areas.

IOP's objective is to give opportunities for education, counselling, and socio-economic development to under-represented populations, to combat discrimination and create sustainable communities. Proceeds of the evening's tombola will go towards IOP.

The evening will start with drinks at 18:30, and guests will be invited to take their seats by 19:30 when a three-course dinner will be served. The menu will comprise a welcome cocktail.

  • Main Course: Local Beef tenderloin cooked at low temperature, served with Périgueux sauce, potato gratin, roasted tomatoes & aioli sauce
