Last weekend, the 29th edition of the "Dag vum Ardennerpäerd" took place in Munshausen in Robbesscheier.
The Ardennes horse was once again the focus of this traditional event. In addition to the presentation of different breeds of horses, one could admire the breath-taking power and work precision of these animals in different fields of application. An artistic show with Ardennes horses rounded off the theme of the workhorse.
Water was also discussed in several studios in collaboration with the nature park Naturpark Our and Natur & Ëmwelt. This featured spectacular water rockets.
Likewise, the Burfelt Nature Discovery Centre and the ANF staff presented the work in the Lohhecken, the dismantling of the oak bark and their use in the tannery and for pharmaceuticals.
The 29th Dag vum Ardenner Päerd was a magnet for the public, attracting in particular the target group of children and families. The 30th anniversary edition will be held on 19 May 2019 in Munshausen.
