Luxembourg non-profit association Valorlux has launched the second edition of Trophéco, the eco-responsible packaging award.
In partnership with the Environmental Administration and the clc, Valorlux has reintroduced its award for environmentally responsible packaging, Trophéco, which aims to prevent packaging waste and promote environmentally friendly alternatives.
Moreover, Trophéco aims is to put forward household packaging designs available on the Luxembourg market that reduce environmental impact throughout their entire lifecycle. The competition thus seeks to raise awareness among the public and to encourage packaging professionals to continue their efforts as they develop and improve their packaging designs.
All Valorlux members are invited to compete in three different categories: weight and/or volume reduction, material origin or end of life options.
Companies are invited to read the rules and submit an application on www.tropheco.lu before the deadline on 15 January 2018. The files will then be evaluated by the jury made up of representatives of consumers as well as of the public, private and scientific sectors.
The winners of Trophéco 2018 will be announced during an awards ceremony on 24 April 2018.
