In the late afternoon on Thursday 21 March 2024, the Luxembourg government's Crisis Unit announced it set up an operational unit, in accordance with the plan in place following the recent cyber-attack.

Following a cyber DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack aimed at making several Luxembourg websites inaccessible, a crisis unit met in the afternoon, chaired by Luxembourg's Minister for Digitalisation, Stéphanie Obertin.

In accordance with the cyber plan and following an in-depth analysis of the situation, the crisis unit set up an operational unit, made up of experts who are constantly monitoring the situation and taking the necessary measures.
