The Grand Ducal Police have reported two road accidents which took place on Friday 12 April 2024.
A first accident occurred around 14:30 on Rue de Guerlange in Clemency, involving a delivery truck crashing head-on into a tree. The cause of the accident remains unclear. According to the police, although the two car occupants were seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital, their lives were not at risk. An accident report was filed.
Secondly, at around 15:00 on Friday afternoon, a pedestrian was hit by a car in the Zone d’Activité Economique (economic activity area) “Op Herbett” in Schifflange. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for further treatment after receiving initial care on-site. An accident report was drawn up.
