The Luxembourg food safety authorities have announced the recall of "Pizza Chorizo et Poivrons" from Cora stores due to the possible presence of Listeria.

Food poisoning caused by Listeria can cause listeriosis, a disease that can be serious and has an incubation period of up to eight weeks. People who have consumed the product mentioned below and who have fever, whether isolated or accompanied by headaches, are advised to consult their doctor by reporting this consumption. Pregnant women need to pay special attention to these symptoms, as well as people with weakened immune systems and the elderly.

The product has since been withdrawn by the distributor but some of it has been sold to the final consumer. For this reason, Luxembourg's food safety authorities ask consumers not to consume the product in question and to return it to the stores concerned.

The affected product is: Cora brand 450g "Pizza Chorizo ​​et Poivrons" with the expiry dates: 20/09/2018, 25/09/2018, 01/10/2018, 04/10/2018.
 
To date, only the product mentioned above with the indicated expiry dates is concerned. All other products are not affected.
