The Association of British and Irish Accountants in Luxembourg (ABIAL) is organising a breakfast event on 31 January 2019 at the Hotel Le Royal in Luxembourg-ville (12 Boulevard Royal), from 07:30 - 10:00.
 
Bruce Cartwright, ICAS Chief Executive, and Sandy Manson, ICAS President, will address the event. With a focus on increasing the level of public trust in business, they will be talking about the need for the profession to provide leadership in times of increasing regulation and technological disruption, rebuilding public trust in the profession, and the long term decisions required to provide a legacy for future generations and to invest in the future.
 
Bruce Cartwright replaced Anton Colella as Chief Executive of last year, and this will be his first visit to Luxembourg since taking up his post. Sandy is Chief Executive of Johnston Carmichael, Scotland’s largest independent accountancy and business advisory firm.
