This Thursday, St George’s International School is hosting an open evening dealing with questions about the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), open to students and parents of the school as well as to students and parents from other secondary schools within and outside of Luxembourg.

Attendees will be able to ask questions about the subjects available for study and about the exams at the end of the two-year course, which encompasses Years 10 and 11 of secondary education based on the English school system.

At St. George’s, classes are held in English and students who successfully complete the IGCSE programme move on to take A-level qualifications, which are accepted for admittance to universities all over the world. The School is an accredited exam centre for Cambridge International Examinations and for Edexcel, the UK’s largest awarding body.

The evening will be held at the school between 18:00 and 20:00 on Thursday, and for those who are interested in the curriculum for other age groups, St George’s will also be hosting an open day for all secondary students on March 23rd, 2017, with two 75-minute ‘talk and tours’ at 09:00 and 11:00.

All events are free of charge and will be conducted in English for all who are interested in attending. More information is available online: www.st-georges.lu or by contacting the school by email: events@st-georges.lu.
