Luxembourg's National Roads Administration has announced upcoming roadworks on the Senningerberg interchange of the A1 motorway.

As part of the Senningerberg interchange redevelopment project, several road closures will be put in place from around 10:00 on Monday 12 February until around 06:00 on Monday 19 February 2024.

From around 10:00 on Monday 12 February until around 10:00 on Thursday 15 February 2024, the following roadblocks are in place:

- the Senningerberg interchange exit in the direction of Trier (Germany), only towards Senningerberg;
- the N1 between Luxembourg Airport and Senningerberg in the direction of Senningerberg.

Traffic from the A1 or the N1 towards Senningerberg is diverted from the Senningerberg interchange via the A1 towards Trier, the Cargo-Center interchange and the CR126.

From around 10:00 on Thursday 15 February until around 06:00 on Monday 19 February 2024, the following roadblocks are in place:

- the Senningerberg interchange exit in the direction of Trier, only towards Senningerberg;
- the Senningerberg interchange exit towards Luxembourg, only towards the airport;
- the N1 between the airport and Senningerberg in both directions.

Traffic from the A1 or the N1 towards Senningerberg is diverted from the Senningerberg interchange via the A1 towards Trier, the Cargo-Center interchange and the CR126.

Traffic from the A1 motorway or N1 towards the airport is diverted from the Senningerberg interchange via the A1 towards Luxembourg, the Grunewald junction, the A7 towards Friedhof, the Waldhof interchange, the A7 towards Luxembourg, the Grunewald junction, the A1 towards Trier and the Senningerberg interchange.

Update: The National Roads Administration later added (on Wednesday 7 February 2024) that traffic from the N1 towards Senningerberg will be diverted from the airport via the N1, the N1A, the N2A, the Hamm interchange, the A1 towards Trier, the Cargo-Center interchange and the CR126.
