On Friday 11 December 2015, Carlo Thill, Country Head of BNP Paribas and Chairman of the BGL BNP Paribas Management Board, and the staff delegations of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg, presented four cheques for a total value of €97,825 to the Médecins du Monde Luxembourg, Parkinson Luxembourg, Rahna Asbl and Multiple Sclerosis Foundation organisations in the name of the Group’s employees.
The donation is part of the corporate social responsibility initiatives led every year by the staff delegations in support of charity organisations. Last year a food and hygiene product collection was organised among the staff of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg in support of the needy.
The four organisations benefiting from the donation – Médecins du Monde Luxembourg, Parkinson Luxembourg, Rahna Asbl and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation – were chosen by the staff delegations because they are all active in Luxembourg and the people they work with reside in Luxembourg. In addition, a number of employees of the BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg feel personally concerned by their initiatives.
