The Grand Ducal Police have reported the arrest of three men in two separate incidences on Monday 12 May 2025.
On Monday, police officers conducted a search of two men, suspected of drug dealing, on Rue de Strasbourg in Luxembourg-Gare. The officers discovered and subsequently seized a quantity of drug packets and cash. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the police arrested both men.
Later that same evening, at approximately 22:00, the police received reports of a customer unable to pay at a restaurant on Rue de Bonnevoie in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie.
A police patrol located the man and the subsequent investigation revealed that there was an outstanding warrant in place for him. The police also confiscated a small amount of cannabis from him during the inspection.
The man was uncooperative and spat at officers who had to take measures to subdue him. On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the police arrested the man.
