The Grand Ducal Police have reported that officers seized an air gun in Rodange on Wednesday 21 May 2025.
At around 12:30 on Wednesday afternoon, a man was reported to be carrying a weapon at Rodange train station. Several police patrols immediately went to the scene and apprehended the man. Initial investigations revealed that the weapon was an air gun.
The police noted that the man was uncooperative and insulted the officers during the official proceedings.
At the request of the public prosecutor's office, a report was drawn up and the weapon was confiscated. Due to his intoxicated state and because he was disturbing public order, the man was also taken into custody after a medical check-up.
