The Grand Ducal Police have reported that officers recently arrested an individual after finding drugs in a vehicle.
In the early hours of Sunday 25 May 2025, a police patrol near Schieren stopped a car from which they could smell cannabis.
The officers found drugs while inspecting the vehicle. The two occupants were taken to the police station for further questioning.
The public prosecutor's office ordered a search of one of the individuals' homes, where the police found more drugs and related items. The individual was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office and brought before the investigating judge. The second individual was given a court appearance.
