The Grand Ducal Police have reported that they recently arrested suspects following separate incidents of burglary in Luxembourg.
In the early morning of Tuesday 10 June 2025, a traffic accident on Rue de Steinsel in Hunsdorf was reported to police. According to the report, the occupants were believed to be under the influence of alcohol and had left the scene. A police patrol was sent to the scene and immediately located the vehicle and arrested the suspects. A body search revealed both individuals were carrying stolen property. Further investigations revealed that the vehicle involved in the accident had previously been stolen during a burglary of a single-family home. By order of the public prosecutor's office, both were arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the afternoon of Tuesday 10 June 2025.
The same night, a burglary was reported at a bar in Luxembourg-Grund. A police patrol immediately went to the scene and arrested the suspect. A body search resulted in the seizure of burglary tools and stolen property. The suspect was arrested by order of the public prosecutor's office and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Tuesday 10 June 2025.
